VIDEO: Copyright Limitations and Exceptions for Emergency Online Education and Open Educational Resources
Limitations and exceptions to copyright, including fair use and fair dealing, are crucial to enable both emergency teaching online, but also the creation of high-quality open educational resources. This panel will address copyright questions that have been exposed in move to teaching online, discuss how fair use and other limitations and exceptions to copyright can enable the creation of resilient, flexible open educational materials, and examine how different national law systems enable similar practices under different legal structures.
