VIDEO: Education in time of Covid
The pandemic accelerated the process of digitization for many everyday activities, including education at all levels. During the quarantine, education went forcefully virtual, which not only meant that for more than half of the people disconnected from the world, the process was halted, but also posed new challenges for those who achieved some form of virtual education because it maximized the risks and challenges that digitization faces.
Was the open education movement and distance education prepared for this challenge? Did the content filtering systems designed for the market respond to the flexibilities inherent in educational activity? What were the main challenges faced by the institutions that had to accelerate and universalize their educational services?
