VIDEO: Global Trade Agenda in a Post-Covid-19 World

Modern trade agreements cover not just trade but a range of policy areas, such as digital trade and the protection of intellectual property rights. Trade rules influence how countries regulate and implement domestic laws. A panel of leading experts will discuss the role trade agreements will play in a post-COVID-19 world and how they may shape domestic rules and policies across the world. The panel would look at how current trade negotiations address global policy priorities. The speakers will provide insights from the United States, Europe, Africa and Latin America and update audience on the recent trade negotiations.
